Mark Ohlsen, DDS
Meet Dr. M. L. Ohlsen
Dr. Mark L. Ohlsen grew up on the prairie in Marshall, Minnesota. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. He majored in biology and minored in chemistry. He then attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He completed his training along with state and national board certification in 1988. He pursued additional training through an advanced general dentistry residency sponsored by the University of Minnesota. This program placed him in large dental practices and hospital settings. Through these work related experiences he received exposure and opportunity in advanced and complicated dental concerns.
After completing the advanced general dentistry residency, Dr. Ohlsen was an associate dentist in Kasson, Minnesota. In the fall of 1990, Dr. Ohlsen purchased The Dentist's House practice in Faribault, Minnesota. for over twenty-five years Dr. Ohlsen has been providing general dentistry care. He enjoys his duties as a dentist to restore and advance his patients oral health needs.
Dr. Ohlsen and his wife live in Faribault. They enjoy and savor the small town living. In his free time, Dr. Ohlsen enjoys pheasant hunting, golfing and recreational biking. He has a passion for empowering people to live their best everyday ordinary moments right where they are because his special needs son taught him how beautiful an ordinary lived life can be. His son is in heaven and his daughter is married and lives in Iowa. Currently Dr. Ohlsen and his wife are learning to embrace and grow through the changes in their lives, ever mindful and thankful for the wonderful people who have crossed their paths.
